Prof Majumdar obtained his PhD degree from University of California in 2003. After continuing seven years at University of California Los Angeles, he joined as a Director and Scientific Member of the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in 2010. Prof Majumdar’s research interests are computer-aided verification and control of reactive, real-time, hybrid, and probabilistic systems, software verification and programming languages, logic, and automata theory.

Prof Chaudhuri is the Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He obtained his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego, USA. Prof Chaudhury’s current research focuses on motion analysis & tracking, gesture analysis, data clustering & pattern recognition, recovery of depth from defocus (focus stereo), diffusion equation, super-resolution imaging, content-based image retrieval, computational photography.
